| Description: | Stern (or Jake as the other officers call him off duty) is a 6'7" tall jaguar, with angular features and coat of jet-black fur. Midnight blue hair and a strong, stocky frame are his distinguishing characteristics, save for his rather aptly named attitude towards the men and women serving with him: stern. He can often be seen either in his uniform, often with his old pre-CSA Armored Cav insignia on the collar next to his Colonel's rank insignia, and his sidearm, his only holdover from his previous career; or a running outfit during his daily lap or three around the Blacksilver. |
| Background: | Born into a military family stationed on a Kithar government outpost, Stern has known little else. His goals always included joining the military and serving in one of the vaunted tank platoons. Having gotten his wish, Stern rapidly learned the skills for his chosen profession. His primary skills deal with armored vehicles of several types, ranging from light attack cycles to treaded assault tanks. He mustered out after reaching the rank of Major in the Kithar Armed Forces, never giving any reasons, and purchased a long-range transport. Upon arrival in Cygnus, he met and eventually was hired by Chastity Delameter to train and lead the Cygnian Marine Corps, a role in which he takes great pride. He shows fierce loyalty to the CSA and Commander Delameter, which has sometimes gotten him into trouble. Politically, he has no ambitions, content to remain a colonel in the CSA, where he can enjoy cracking hostile heads together. His demeanor is playful, and he enjoys a good party... until the Assault Corps are required. Then, his professional skills and attitude come forward, and God help anyone who stands in his way... |
