| Description: | Santiago O'Shaunnessy is a young sable and white collie morph standing about 5'2". His fur is thick and fluffy, making him appear broader than he actually is. He wears a neat 'fisherman's vest' of dull medium blue covered with an array of pockets, most of them full. A panel of cloth that is free of pockets on the right breast displays the crescent planet and star rise of the Cygnus Sector Authority on a patch. Below it is the one gold stripe of a CSA lieutenant over an insignia of crossed keys. He's apparently also wearing some kind of tool belt, although it's mostly hidden by his fur poufing out over it. He has an earnestly interested gaze, and perky ears, as if he's still learning about life... and life is still new and exciting to him. |
| Background: | Santiago, or "Yago", is the doted-on youngest child of six siblings, from a large, close family of New Terran collies. Raised in both Ameriga and Europa by his foreign-born parents, he has been strongly trained in the tenets of noblesse oblige, even though he will not inherit the family title. This means he has inherited a strong moral code, and has led a somewhat sheltered, if rather intellectually stimulated, life. Currently he's delightedly embarking out on his first post-college adventures, away from the protective shadow of his family. At a still-naive 18 New Terran years of age, he's finding that real life does not always precisely match what he's read in his many and varied researches. ;) Yago is friendly, earnest, well-meaning, dedicated, and very bright - a real boy scout. ;) He's also currently having a wonderful time learning about life and getting to indulge in his two favorite past-times: computer programming (which he is really outstanding at, and which he now does for the CSA) and playing the flute. |
