Background: The Salvor Maria was purchased locally when the BIS Thunderstruck, BIS Blacksilver, and BIS Mediterranean arrived in this Domain. She was immediately put to work salvaging whatever ships could be salvaged from 61 Cygni. Among her most noteworthy finds were the BIS (later CSA) Overdriver, the CSA Falcon, the CSA Star Witch, and the Hunter-class corvettes CSA Minerva, Arcadia, Valhalla, and Elysia. In fact, throughout the entire convoluted history of the BIS and CSA, the only constant has been the Salvor Maria and her crew of CSA engineers, picking delicately through the ship graveyards or the yard or following major battles. She is not equipped with a jump engine.
