Background: Arcadia was the name given to one of the original Hunter-class corvettes salvaged from the starship graveyards of 61 Cygni. The vessel herself served proudly for a long time under the command of Major Alfon Krosman. Following his death which ended the civil war, Arcadia was assigned mostly to patrol duties within the system, and participated in the attack upon Delphi station. When she went with the Blacksilver to Deneb, a Cthulhi raid devastated her and her sister-ship, the CSA Elysia. Both ships were brought into Starforge's graving docks, and were all but rebuilt. The resulting lower-tech design lacks jump engines and synthetic gravity, but she is a capable warship nonetheless. She was originally assigned to the defense of Deneb, but when Valhalla was commissioned she was transferred to Despayre.
