CSA Alexandria Belle

Description: Missile frigate, interim research survey and exploration ship.

Background: The Alexandria Belle was designed by Col. Kitsu Chamberlain and her staff of Auroran engineers, intended to serve three roles: to act as a defense ship for the fledgling colony of Danoc, to serve as a standoff weapons platform in fleet actions, and to perform interim duty in scientific research, survey, and exploration. To these ends, the design of the A.Belle was slightly modular. The main structure is made up of a structural gridwork to which and within which are arrayed various armored ship's components. At the bow of the ship is the forward hangar, and the large long-range standoff JAVELIN autonomous capital ship missile system. Aft of the main hull is the primary superstructure, the main hangar, habitation modules, engineering, and stern weapons. Additional equipment can be made fast to the superstructure relatively easily. A third engine array is aligned dorsally to the primary engines to provide balanced thrust.
